Warrugang encourages our members and their friends to partake in outdoor sporting activities.
Below is a list of winter sporting activities that members and their guests may be interested in --
Compete Against the Mountain
Members often create their own competition such as the Wilson and Roberts families Perisher All-Lift Challenge 2024 --
Externally Organised Racing

Interschools Snowsports Racing
The school children of Warrugang members can compete for their school in any of 7 snow sports discipline events through the NSW & ACT Interschools competition.
School Students from all ability levels are encouraged to enter, with an emphasis on fun and participation in the initial regional championships. As the competitions move into the State and then the National level, the competition and the degree of difficulty increases.

Perisher Masters
Perisher’s Winter Sports Club conducts a variety of season long programs specially designed for enthusiasts to develop and progress their snow riding skills. The program caters for kids three years and over to adults who are interested in recreational skiing through to racing and boarding competitions. Warrugang encourages our summer trail runners, bushwalkers and angler members to enjoy and appreciate life in the Snowy Mountains.
From time to time, Warrugang has hosted cycling teams competing in the mountains.
In 2024, the North Face trail-running team successfully competed in races from 30km to 100km.
The lodge is a perfect base with a self-catered kitchen and the quality accommodation makes recovery easier.
